Yellow Heart Bracelet, Remembering Those Lost to Covid 19by Ellen DuBois on 07/25/21
The yellow heart symbol to remember those lost to Covid 19 all started with a girl in the UK who wanted a way to remember her grandmother, Sheila. Since then, there have been millions of yellow hearts in windows, on doors and incorporated into jewlery as a symbol and a way of connecting those families who have lost loved ones to Covid. It is a way to honor those who we've lost to this terrible virus and to stand in solidarity as a people offering support, compassion and love. I decided to make a bracelet for this very reason. The one pictured is made with clear crystal, reflecting the colors of the rainbow, selenite which is known to calm anxiety and pewter spacers. The yellow heart is enamel. I've also added an angel wing to remind those who wear this that their loved one is with the angels and that the angels are here to help you. All you have to do is ask. My heart goes out to all who have lost loved ones to Covid. My prayers are with you and the world as we grieve and try to heal.
God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. – Revelation 21:4
